Seeing the Prophet ﷺ in a Dream

-> Whoever sees the Prophet ﷺ in a dream will have the special opportunity on the Day of Judgement to see him and benefit from his intercession.


-> The Shaytan may come in another form claiming he is the Prophet ﷺ to those unfamiliar with his description and suggest innovated practices. Islam has been complete with the death of the Prophet ﷺ. Many people who perform innovations do so based on dreams; this is considered falsehood.

-> Every Muslim should be familiar with the description of the Prophet ﷺ. It is, in summary:
1) He ﷺ was the most handsome amongst the people and had the best appearance
2) He ﷺ was of medium height; neither very tall nor very short.
3) He ﷺ had broad shoulders.
4) He ﷺ had rosy colored skin; neither very white not very brown.
5) His face was bright and round.
6) He had big hands and fingers and soft palms.
7) His eyelashes were long
8) His eyes were wide and red veins could be seen on the white part of his eyes.
9) He had a wide mouth and spaces between the teeth
10) His hair was black; neither curly nor straight. It reached his earlobe or sometimes lesser than it.
11) There were twenty, and in another narration 18 white hairs.
12) There were white hairs between his lower lip and chin.

This is based on Authentic Narrations.


If you want your dream to be true....
1) You should strive hard to always speaks honestly
2) Eat lawful food
3) Adhere to the Islamic Commandments 
4) Avoid that which Allah has forbidden 
5) Sleep in a state of purity
6) Facing the Qibla
7) Remember Allah until you sleep

If you follow this, your dreams will hardly be untrue.


The Various Interpretations of Dreams
Dreams should be explained according to the symbols in the Qur'an and Sunnah. Ash-Shinqitee said to interpret every dream according to the Qur'an, if it becomes difficult then the Sunnah, if that becomes difficult then according to proverbs, or the opposite of what you see.
