- The Importance of Tadabbur -
Why do we ponder over the Qur'an?
-> Because it is the speech of Allah
-> It's one of the means of increasing our faith
-> It guides us to Allah - it tells us who Allah is by His names, attributes, actions, His laws, His recompense in this world and in the next, what He hates, what He loves, etc.
We will never be able to know all this without pondering over the Qur'an.
-> It's a favour from Allah which we'll be asked about on the Day of Judgement. In (43:44):
The Qur'an has rights upon us. Allah will ask us on the Day of Judgement if we fulfilled its rights.
Pondering over the Qur'an is a means of success in our lives and in the hereafter.
