Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet ﷺ would recite in the dawn prayer on Friday the verses, “The revelation of the Book…” (32:1) and, “Has there not come a time over humanity…” (76:1) [Bukhari]
When we recite سورة السجدة we read all about the people of the Hellfire, what they're saying, their descriptions, their wishes. Then we read سورة الانسان and we experience Paradise and its people, what they do, say, their reward. Allah takes us in the beginning of the day to Paradise and Hell.
The People of the Hellfire will wish that they could be returned to this life to do good deeds. So Allah reminds us that we're living their wish - act now, do good deeds, before your life ends.
So hasten to صلاة الجمعة, it'll expiate your sins. Hasten to catch the time when supplications are answered.
We make Friday a holiday to visit families, go to the beach, and waste this day in a way we shouldn't.
The Salaf would stay in the mosque after صلاة العصر until صلاة المغرب making دعاء.
-> يهتدون، هداها, هدى, يهدون, يهد
(Verses 3, 13, 23, 24, 26)
Allah revealed books to the people to guide them. He revealed the Torah to guide Bani Israeel, and He revealed the Qur'an to guide this nation. If you're looking for guidance - go to the Qur'an. If you take this guidance you will be guided and you will guide others. Guidance is like a light, it will enlighten your way, and wherever you go you will enlighten the road for others around you.
But know - you shouldn't rely on yourself. Ask Allah for guidance. Allah said:
"O My slaves, all of you are astray except for those I have guided, so seek guidance of Me and I shall guide you. "
Don't think that you're going to guide yourself. Guidance isn't in your hands. You should perpetually feel poor and in need to Allah. You say "اهدنا الصراط المستقيم" seventeen times a day. Guidance is from Allah - If He wishes to guide you, He will guide you. We concluded this from verse 13.
Don't forget the people before you. Allah gave them guidance but they pushed it away and put it behind their backs. Allah said in (41:17):
The opposite of certainty is doubt. The people of hellfire doubted whilst they were in this life whereas the believers had certainty in this life.
In the previous Surah (31:4):
Certainty is one of the conditions of لا اله الا الله; after knowledge. The more you increase in knowledge, the more you will increase in certainty. You will push doubts away with knowledge.
In (30:60):
So in سورة الأحزاب Allah talks about the disbelievers, who have no certainty. Then in the next Surah, سورة لقمان, Allah talks about the believers as those who have certainty. In سورة السجدة Allah mentions both.
-> الحق, حق
(Verses 3, 13)
In the previous Surah (30:31):
الحق is one of the names of Allah.
In (30:33):
Be certain about it, don't have any doubt - it's true.
Allah is الحق, His word is الحق, His book is الحق, His promise is الحق
