Making up the missed راتبة

-> The scholars said that if a person insisted on passing between you and your Sutra, and you pushed him, and due to it he died, you won't be accountable for it. Because the Prophet ﷺ said,  "If any of you performs Salaat with a Sutra blocking you from the people and someone tried to pass in front of you, then repel him and if he insists on passing, then fight him, for indeed he is Shaytan." [Bukhari]

-> Try your best to prevent your children from passing between you and your Sutra. If it happened that they passed, it won't invalidate your prayer, but it might diminish the reward of your prayer.

-> If you try to close the gap between your feet between someone, and they move their feet away, the sin is on them.

-> When you start a new row in congregational prayer, you should start it from the middle.

-> Congregational prayer is obligatory on men, not women. If you have young children it is better for you to stay at home and don't cause harm to the people.

------

The راتبة are stressed Sunnah which are prayed daily with the obligatory prayers. According to the majority of the scholars they are 12 Rak'ahs:

2 before Fajr (After the Athan)
2+2 before Thuhr and 2 after
2 after the Maghrib
2 after the Isha

The reward of performing these: A house in Paradise

Most people are at work or school during Thuhr and may miss this Sunnah prayer. It is recommendable to make up the missed prayer.

Ibn Taymiya said there are two points of views
1) The Hanafi and Maliki school of thoughts said there's no need to make it up
2) Ash-Shafi'i said you can.

He said making it up is the stronger point of view.

Umm Salamah (may Allaah be pleased with her), according to which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) prayed two rak’ahs after ‘Asr. He was asked about them and he said: “O daughter of Abu Umayyah, you asked about the two rak’ahs after ‘Asr. That is because some people from ‘Abd al-Qays came to me and distracted me from the two rak'ahs that come after Zuhr; these are they (i.e., I prayed them just now).” [Agreed upon]

Qays ibn ‘Amr said: The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ came out when the iqaamah for prayer had been given, and I prayed Fajr with him, then the Prophet ﷺ finished and found me praying. He said, “Take it easy, O Qays. Two prayers together?” I said, “O Messenger of Allaah, I did not pray the two rak’ahs before Fajr..." [Tirmithi]

How do I make up the missed Sunnah of Fajr?
1) Either I do it directly after the obligatory prayer
2) I wait until the sun rises

The other missed Sunnahs can be offered at any other time.
