Do not confidently state that you will do anything in the future, without adding إن شاء الله because nothing is guaranteed. We aren't in control of anything, everything occurs by the will of Allah. We can't do anything separate from the will of Allah.
مشيئة الله is the third level of belief in the Qadar, after:
-> Knowledge (Allah already knows beforehand what the creation will do)
-> Writing (Allah wrote down everything 50,000 years before the creation of the heavens and earth, even down to the putting of our hand on our cheek)
And before:
-> Creation (Allah creates the action and the means)
When you say إن شاء الله you are depending on the will of Allah, and Allah will make it easy and put بركة in that action.
But don't say إن شاء الله without a firm resolution to take the action. Many people use it to avoid saying no to others. Don't use the name of Allah lightly.
"واذكر ربك إذا نسيت"
When you don't say إن شاء الله you are depending on your own power and ability. So when you forget or don't know, take that U-turn back to Allah, and make up for that ignorance or forgetfulness by remembering Allah.
We can use this as a general rule as well: When you forget to do an act of worship, make it up when you remember.
This forgetfulness is also a nurturing, to make you to return to your Lord and no one else.
"و قل عسى أن يهدين ربي لأقرب من هاذا رشدا"
In Verse 10, The People of the Cave said:
They used the word "رشدا" as well. They were going through a difficult situation and needed guidance from Allah in all their actions. Even in normal, everyday situations we should draw close to Allah and seek guidance.
This is the conclusion of the story. Allah tells us that they stayed for 309 years, the 9 being the miracle. It's not an estimation, but the exact number of years in both the lunar and solar calendar. Allah knows the unseen.
Allah never tells us more or less than we need to know. Sometimes we may tell our children a limited amount of information because extra information might affect the child negatively, cause him to misunderstand, etc.
Allah tells us everything we need to know, so there's no need to investigate details in other books and religions. Focus on what Allah tells you in the Qur'an, it'll benefit you in both this world and the next. Don't run after information which wont benefit you.
"له غيب السماوات و الارض"
Some matters of the unseen are known to us, but not seen. There exists غيب which we don't even know. Allah is the owner of all the unseen.
"أبصر به و أسمع"
(التعجب من كمال الله سمعه و بصر)
When you read this سورة you are taken from one place to another, seeing and hearing the characters. You can't help but be filled with amazement experiencing the unseen of the past.
These verses of the Qur'an are the words of Allah, He spoke with these words. The fact that Allah tells us about the unseen with His words shows us His perfection, and increases our belief in Him.
"ما له من دونه من ولي"
You have no close friend, ally, supporter, protector, except Allah. Everyone besides Allah is weak, disabled, needy. Allah is الحي, The One who never dies. Believe in Allah, and He will be your ولي, He'll do everything for you without you even asking.
You can see the ولاية الله in this story. Allah took care of everything for them, down to the position of the cave, and the effect of the sun on them.
This Dunya is of low quality, Allah wants to give us the highest quality - AlFirdaus, whose ceiling is the throne of Allah.
Your value is not in your material possessions. The People of the Cave left all the worldly luxuries behind them, and Allah customized the cave for them.
Make your priority in life your religion. Do not ever sacrifice it for the Dunya.
Reciting the Qur'an
No one can change the كلام of Allah.
Good Companions
What are their qualities?
3) Do not obey:
-> The one whose heart is heedless of Allah
-> And follows his desires
Such a friend will cause you to lose your religion -> "و كان أمره فرطا"
4) Say to to those who are heedless: الحق من ربكم
Whatever you are bringing isn't from you, it's from your Rabb.
We can't force anyone to believe.
5) Know the reward for belief and the punishment for disbelief (الترغيب و الترهيب)
Those who disbelieve will be surrounded by the fire and they will beg for water desperately, but this water will burn their faces.
As for those who did good deeds with إحسان, Allah will never let their efforts go to waste. The reason why Allah created life and death was to test who would do deeds with إحسان. In (67:2):
You'll be able to do your best when you leave what doesn't concern you:
And their reward will be:
