We live this name in our lives daily, but don't realize it, because we don't know it's meaning. To us, العزيز is limited to the meaning of "Might'"

Continuation: How can I worship Allah by His name العزيز? / What are the impacts of believing in the name of Allah العزيز?

1) Have إيمان in this name. This will give you courage and confidence,
2) Know that Allah's عزة is connected to His حكمة
3) Know that guidance is connected to the عزة of Allah.
Sometimes we are so keen to guide specific people in our lives and that person turns away from us. This teaches us that guidance is in Allah's hand. He guides whomever He wills, according to His wisdom. No one is able to misguide a person whom Allah guided. And if Allah wills for a person to be misguided, even if the people gather to guide him, they will never be able to.

Teach people, but your heart should be with Allah. Don't think that your words cause people's hearts to change. We don't have power over the hearts of people. No matter how much you talk and bring evidences, if Allah does not will guidance for him, he won't be guided.

4) Knowing العزيز will grant you peace and tranquility.
No one can repel Allah's decrees. It occurs according to His عزة. Don't feel overly upset because of loss of a worldly matter nor rejoice excessively over receiving the good of this world. Be moderate in your feelings, because everything happens by Allah's Qadar.

5) Believing in the name of Allah العزيز will make you feel at rest towards your رزق
Whatever Allah has written for you of provision is according to Allah's will, knowledge, kindness, strength, power.
There are people who work day and night to increase their income and they will not get more than what Allah has written for them.

You may ask, "Why does Allah give others and withhold from me?" Allah answers you in (42:27):

If Allah enlarged your provision, you would have rebelled and transgressed on earth and gone far away from the right path.
Allah knows us better than we know our own selves. He will not give you more than what is good for you, nor less. He'll give you the perfect amount.

Once again, رزق isn't limited to money. It could be knowledge, provision, success, etc.

In (35:2):

رحمة is indefinite. It includes the attainment of every good and the repelling of every evil/harm. Even being protected from harm is out of the mercy of Allah on us.

The imagery of this verse is as if there are treasures of mercy which no one opens and closes except Allah.
If He opens mercy for His slave, out of His عزة, no one can stop or repel it.
If Allah closes the gate of رحمة, out of His عزة, no matter how much you spend of time, life, and money to open it, you will never be able to.
Because He is العزيز.

This verse could be referring to the Prophet ﷺ. The Quraish tried to extinguish Islam, to persecute the Muslims, and all their efforts went in vain.
It could be rain. No one can command the sky to rain whenever or wherever they want. If Allah withholds the rain, no one can cause it to fall down. Sometimes we see black clouds and not a drop of rain falls. This is Allah showing us His عزة.
It could be guidance, success, health, etc. It could be anything.

It's important to note that mercy isn't limited to giving and opening. Sometimes Allah withholding a provision from us is a mercy.
E.g. The teacher asks a question. For some, Allah will open the answer, and will withhold it from other students. Why? Out of His mercy. If he opens it for that person, that person may feel proud.

Allah will not give the people according to their desire. Many people feel upset and distressed when they try their best and fail, thinking that they can attain whatever they desire. When you understand the name of Allah العزيز you will understand why we fail.

Allah will give you the best, even though you may hate it. And this is out of Allah's kindness with His servants.
E.g. We go through many decrees which we hate, not realizing the situation we hate and are crying over is a gate of goodness for us. We don't understand because we don't know Allah by His name العزيز.

6) Know that there is a connection between التوكل and the name of Allah العزيز
In (26:217):

Allah commands the Prophet ﷺ and His followers to rely on العزيز، الرحيم.

The greatest help for the slave, whenever he undertakes any mission, is to rely on Allah - السعدي

E.g. Allah commanded us to accomplish many duties in our life. The greatest help in accomplishing these duties is توكل على الله.

How can I rely on Allah? Invoke Him, seek His help, ask Him to grant you the strength to accomplish these duties. لا حول و لا قوة الا بالله

What is the connection between التوكل and the name of Allah العزيز?
التوكل is an action of the heart. It is reliance on Allah in attaining good and averting a harm or evil.
You will get this from Allah, العزيز. So seek it from Him. No one can enable you to do good or prevent an evil except Allah, العزيز. He will give you the strength, guidance, and support, and no one else.

E.g. Many people take all the means for guidance or healing, and they fail, because they rely on the means and not Allah.
If all the people gathered to help you, they would never be able to. So don't think of anyone, just think of Allah. He will help and support you by His عزة.

In (8:49):

The Prophet ﷺ and his companions were only 313 men in comparison to the army of the Quraish who were 1000. The hypocrites said that they were deceived with their religion. Allah answers them.

It's not a matter of number or forces, it is a matter of how much you are seeking help from Allah, العزيز.
The believer, who knows Allah العزيز, knows that power and strength is from Him. Victory is from Allah, العزيز.
لا حول و لا قوة الا بالله

This is a matter of belief.

"و من يتوكل الله...."
Allah didn't say what will happen, but ended the verse with العزيز الحكيم.
This is of the eloquence of the Qur'an. If you put your trust in Allah, then know that He is العزيز. Sit down and enumerate the impacts of Allah's عزة. If you put your trust in Allah, He will give you success, victory, make you superior, etc. etc.

Repeat what you are studying again and again and reflect over this meaning in your life. We constantly go through situations where Allah wants us to rely on Him, but we ignore and rely on ourselves.

7) The connection between العزيز الرحيم
Allah mentioned His names العزيز الرحيم  nine times in Surah Shu'araa. Whenever Allah repeatedly mentions a name in one Surah, it means that the theme of that Surah is about that name.

E.g. In Verses 119-122:

Allah rescued Nuh in the ark and drowned everyone else. The entire earth was flooded with water. It was by His mercy that He saved Nuh, and by His عزة that He drowned the disbelievers.
