Spreading the Sunnah is obligatory. Teaching it is the greatest way of getting closer to Allah and it is one of the greatest acts of obedience to Him. - Ibn Baz in مجموع الفتاوى
This means that it is very heavy on the scale.
The Prophet said, "Whoever says after the Fajr prayer, while his feet are still folded, before speaking:
لا اله الا الله وحده لا شريك له له الملك و له الحمد يحي و يميت و هو على كل شئ قدير
Ten times, then:
- 10 good deeds will be written for him
- 10 evil deeds will be wiped away from him
- He will be raised 10 degrees with Allah
- He will be in security that whole day from every disliked thing
- He shall be in protection from the Shaytan
- No sin will destroy him that day (nothing will nullify his deeds except shirk)
[At-Tirmithi and authenticated by Al-Albani in Saheeh At-Targheeb #472]
Ahmed added, "He will be the best of people in deed except for a man who excelled him and said better than him'
And whoever says 100 times after the Fajr prayer before unfolding his legs:
لا اله الا الله وحده لا شريك له له الملك و له الحمد يحي و يميت بيده الخير و هو على كل شئ قدير
Would be on that day the best of the people of earth in deed except a person who said like him or more than that. [Al-Silsilah as-Saheeh #2664, Saheeh At-Targheeb #476]
