"من سلك طريقًا يلتمس فيه علما سهل الله له به طريقًا إلى الجنة"
Narrated by Abu Hurairah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever treads a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him the path to Paradise"

This is restricted to religious knowledge.

There are two kinds of 'treading a path to knowledge':

1) طريق حسي
The person walks from place to place in search of knowledge. He leaves his house and physically walks in order to seek knowledge.
It could be by traveling from one country to another seeking knowledge, like the companions did. Jabir Ibn Abdillah AlAnsari traveled one months journey on a camel in search of one Hadith.

If you do this, Allah will make the path to Paradise easy for you.

2) طريق معناوي
The person doesn't move with his feet, rather he treads this path through books.  He may have not even left his room, yet he's considered a person taking a path in search of knowledge. He doesn't move by feet, but by effort.

The more effort you put, the easier Allah will make it for you to reach Paradise. But only the one who understands the meaning of this Hadith knows this.

This is an important intention to have.

When you seek knowledge, you're learning Allah's rulings; what He has commanded and prohibited. This is something noble and high in status with Allah. He is العليم and loves العلماء, therefore He makes the path to Paradise easy for them.

This Hadith exhorts Muslims to acquire knowledge and take all means to learn. Especially if you're young, because you're in a better situation time wise and health wise. Take advantage of your youth, your free time, your health before you are occupied. You don't know what obligations you may have or what situation you will be in tomorrow.

If you are seeking to know the most noblest and greatest of all actions in this world, then know that the most noble of all actions is spending your time and effort worshipping and serving Allah. And if you seek to know the most noblest of sayings, then know that the most noble utterances are when you remember and praise Allah.
If you spend your time and life learning about Allah, then you will get the noblest reward with Allah on the Day of Judgement.

Understand the value of what you are seeking; it's not just any knowledge.

Also, Allah loves to be praised by His names and attributes.
HADITH: Abdullah ibn Mas‘ood said: The Messenger of Allahﷺ said: “There is no one to whom praise is more dear than Allah, and because of that He praised Himself. And there is no one whose protective jealousy is greater than Allah’s, and because of that He forbade immoral actions.” (Bukhari and Muslim)

Whenever you make دعاء call Him by His names and praise Him. The more you praise Allah, the more Allah will love you.

But how can you love and praise Him if you don't know Him?
Allah tells us about Himself in the Qur'an and through the tongue of the Prophet ﷺ, we just need to put effort.
